Here are the top 10 items borrowed from PINES libraries in 2024

Georgia library cardholders saved money by borrowing 11,719,537 items for free through PINES libraries, an increase of 407,500 more checkouts than last year. And the variety of items shows how vital libraries are to meeting the diverse needs of their communities.

Libraries foster a love of reading for all ages, but the resources we provide go far beyond books. Individuals and families used their libraries to connect with technology, enjoy cultural experiences, and engage with stories.

Libraries help bridge the digital divide by expanding access to technology. Cardholders can check out laptops for at-home use for work, school, or entertainment.

3. Zoo Atlanta Library Pass
Check out the Zoo Atlanta Library Pass just like a book and see animals from around the world. With your library card, you can also check out Experience Passes for free admission to other amazing places around Georgia like the Alliance Theatre, the Computer Museum of America, and more.
