Alliance Theatre Community Ticket Pass
Pass Loan Program
The Alliance Theatre Georgia Libraries Community Pass allows up to four (4) free admissions to performances at the Alliance on the Hertz and Coca-Cola Stages.
- The Community Ticket Pass allows you to receive up to four (4) tickets for an individual performance using a promo code on the back of the pass.
- The Pass MUST be presented at the Alliance Theatre along with the tickets to the performance.
- The Pass is valid for productions on the Hertz and Coca-Cola stages ONLY.
- The pass may not be used for other performances, classes, camps, programming, or events.
- Tickets for performances are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- To redeem the pass for your free tickets, visit alliancetheatre.org.
- Select your desired performance, date, and time.
- In the point of sale process to receive your four (4) tickets, use the promo code on the pass itself to activate access to the free tickets.
- Free tickets may not be transferred to someone else.
- Plan accordingly to arrive early for performance, at least 30 minutes.
Expect crowds for your chosen performance.
Atlanta History Center
Pass Loan Program
The Library Pass is a library Loan program. When checked out and taken to the Center, the Pass is good for six (6) free admissions to the museum.
The Pass is presented at the museum for the free admissions OR patrons can pre-purchase tickets online with the Center’s website using the code on the back of the pass itself. The pass MUST be presented along with the online purchased tickets to gain free admissions.
- The Pass is for general admission only and is not valid for special events or exhibits.
- The Family Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days.
- The Family Pass may be renewed once.
- The pass expires on December 31 of every year. A new pass will be issued before the expiration date but is not usuable until January 1.
- Holds are not allowed
The Breman Museum Family Pass and Eighteen Artifacts: Story of Jewish Atlanta Exhibit

The Breman Museum Family Pass is available for circulation, but please note their are temporary rules and admission policies in place.
- The Breman Museum is good for up to four (4) free admissions.
- The Breman is open on Sundays ONLY from 10 AM to 4 PM.
- Patrons wishing to visit the museum using the Family Pass MUST make ticket reservations online before visiting the museum.
- Patrons MUST bring the Family Pass to the Breman Museum to fully redeem your free admission.

org/Visit/Purchase-Tickets to reserve your place. - To reserve your free admissions to the museum, fill out the basic information on the Purchase Tickets page and enter the number of visitors who will accompany you to the Museum in the field titled Third Party Tickets.
Eighteen Artifacts is a 20 panel, full color exhibit based on the full exhibit at the Breman.
There are 10 double-sided bases, hence 20 panels
The exhibit is currently on its inaugural tour and available to public libraries only. Please check with your local library or view the tour schedule here if you are interested in seeing the exhibit.
Center for Puppetry Arts Passport to Puppetry

**Please note that the Center is using Time Ticketing. When using the Passport, patrons MUST call the center first to set up a date and time for admission. The Passport to Puppetry admits four (4) people to the World of Puppetry Museum OR a patron can receive a 25% discount on an All-Inclusive Ticket. By using the code LIBRARY, patrons may pre-purchase their All-Inclusive ticket online in advance of their visit at www.puppet.org/buy-tickets.
An All-Inclusive ticket is for one (1) person and includes: a Family Series Performance, a Create-A-Puppet Workshop, and the admission to the Museum.
The Passport to Puppetry has a circulation period of seven (7) days.
The Passport to Puppetry may be renewed once.
Holds are not allowed.
Chattahoochee Nature Center Family Pass

**UPDATE for COVID-19**
- Until further notice CNC Family Pass holders must call in advance to reserve a date and time for their visit. If a group exceeds the four people covered by the pass, they must purchase any extra tickets online prior to arriving at CNC. They are not able to accommodate walk ups.
- Reservations are available for visits occurring Mondays – Wednesdays at this time. Patrons need to call 770-992-2055 x 238 or email cnc.admissions@
chattnaturecenter.org to make a reservation, allowing up to three business days for requests to be processed. - Patrons need to be prepared with several options for a requested date/time for their visit. Visits are not confirmed until they have received email confirmation.
- Their limited, timed admission system will not only provide for an intimate experience on the property, but also allow the CNC to reduce person to person contact and better maintain social distancing throughout the admissions process.
- If patrons plan to visit between June 6th and August 2nd, the 30 minute window after their arrival is also their designated time window to visit the Butterfly Encounter exhibit.
- Patrons need to allow themselves time to arrive for their selected time slot.
- Patrons NEED to bring the CNC Family Pass they checked out from your library as well as a photo ID to the Center on the day of their visit.

Computer Museum of America
Pass Loan Program
The Museum features technology dating back to the turn of the century up to the current year. Notable pieces in the museum are the numerous super computers, an Enigma Machine, Apollo 11 computers, rotary and mobile phones, video games, advertisements, and plenty of other items that are sure to bring a flood of memories.
When checked out and taken to the CMOA, the Pass is good for four (4) free admissions to the museum.

Fox Theatre Institute Fox in a Box
Exhibit Program
Fox in a Box is an interactive traveling banner exhibit that focuses on how important events in the Fox Theatre’s timeline intersect with American history, the Civil Rights movement, economics, and the importance of communities.
Fox in a Box Version 2 is available on a limited basis to public libraries. Tour stops are generally announced by the hosting libraries.
Georgia Aquarium Poseidon Kit and Library Discount
Educational Loaner Kit and Admission Discount Program
Poseidon is a traveling educational toolkit and exhibit of curated technology and activities jointly designed by Georgia Public Library Service and the Georgia Aquarium to take the Aquarium’s mission of community outreach, conservation support, and the rescue and rehabilitation of marine life outside of the Aquarium’s walls. The kit is available to public libraries only.
Public libraries in Georgia receive a special discount to the Georgia Aquarium. The Aquarium does offer some discounts of its own, but the Library Discount is available at all times. The Library Discount is obtained by visiting www.georgiaaquarium.org/libraries.
Georgia Commission on the Holocaust
Community Engagement Program
The partnership with the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust began in 2022 with the launch of touring banner exhibits to libraries statewide in effort to help preserve the memory of the Holocaust and to promote public understanding of history.

The exhibits are:
Witness to the Holocaust: WWII Veteran William Alexander Scott III
The exhibit highlights World War II veteran and civil rights activist who served as a photographer in a segregated battalion of the United States Army. He witnessed and photographed the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration in Germany. The exhibit also draws parallels between the Jim Crow Laws between 1860-1960’s implemented in the United States and the Nuremberg Race Laws of 1935-1945 implemented in Germany and Nazi controlled areas of Europe.
Georgia’s Response to the Holocaust: Survivors and Liberators
This exhibit examines the stories of courage of Holocaust survivors and liberators who were or became Georgia citizens.

Fashioning a Nation: German Identity and Industry, 1914-1945
This exhibit explores the powerful history of German fashion from its international impact to its destruction by the Nazi regime. It honors the legacy of the Jewish Germans who contributed to its rise and commemorates the great cultural and economic loss resulting from its demise.
Georgia Department of Human Services We Are…
Community Engagement Program
The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) and Georgia’s public libraries have the same service populations. The goal of this partnership is form relationships on the local level between public libraries and the offices of the Divisions of Family and Child Services, Child Support Services, and Aging Services so the organizations can collaborate to provide an extra measure of community relations and public service.
Georgia Farm Bureau/Georgia Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture
Educational and Family Program
Georgia Farm Bureau and Georgia Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture presents one (1) copy of a selected book to every library branch. This book is typically the winner of the Book of Year Award from the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.

Georgia Public Broadcasting
Family and Educational Programming
The partnership between the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) and Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is ever evolving and on a program-by-program basis.
This collaboration’s most recent form was to celebrate Public Broadcasting System’s (PBS) Great American Read, where PBS curated a list of 100 books (or series) for residents of the United States to vote on to select America’s favorite novel.
In Georgia, GPLS and GPB developed a traveling voting booth and display for the Great American Read. Five of the booths were provided and toured statewide in 54 library systems. Each booth contained: voting station with iPad; promotional item display with materials; upright banner.

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites ParkPass/Historic Site Family Pass and Discovery Backpack
Pass and Material Loan Program
The ParkPass consists of a hanging tag that allows free parking at all of Georgia’s state parks and historic sites as well as the Historic Site Family Pass that allows two (2) free admissions into any of Georgia’s historic sites.
- The passes have a circulation period of seven (7) days.
- The passes may be renewed once.
- Holds are not allowed.
The Discovery Backpack consists of a backpack with binoculars and three foldout, weatherproof guides: Georgia’s Trees; Georgia’s Wildlife; Georgia’s Trees and Wildflowers.
- The Discovery Backpack has has a circulation period of seven (7) days.
- The backpack may be renewed once.
- Holds are not allowed.
Go Fish Education Center Family Pass

The Family Pass allows up to four (4) free admissions to the Center.

- Holds are not allowed.
The Family Pass may only be checked out by family once every six months. The Center reserves the right to deny entry to patrons who continually check out the Pass.
Hawks “Check it Out” Reading Challenge

Participants must check out and read five (5) books—the type of book is not specifically defined, but it is heavily encouraged participants read books on athletics, health, sportsmanship, basketball, sports history, etc. Participants then visit hawks.com/checkitoutreading, fill out the form, and with the purchase of an adult ticket they receive a free youth ticket to one (1) select Hawks game.
Patrons will begin receiving their tickets via email after October 31.

Macon Museum Pass and Macon Banner Exhibit
(Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Arts and Sciences, Tubman Museum)

On a limited basis, public libraries can host a banner exhibit on loan from Visit Macon. These eight banners highlight and celebrate the three Macon museums and the Ocmulgee National Monument. Michael C. Carlos Museum Family Pass and Wrapped Up in Reading

When checked out, the Pass is taken to the Michael C. Carlos Museum on the Emory University campus where it allows up to six (6) free admissions to the museum. Children must be accompanied by parents.
- The Family Pass is general admission only and cannot be used for other museum offers such as renting the audio tour or special exhibits or special programming.
- The Family Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days.
- The Family Pass may be renewed once.
- Holds are not allowed.
During the summer, the Carlos offers “Wrapped Up In Reading.” A reading list and reading diary is available online through the Carlos or GPLS. When a child reads five (5) books from the reading list, they contact the Carlos, schedule a visit, and when they meet with the Director of Education receive a goodie bag of items related to the Carlos exhibits and collections.

Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University
Banner Exhibit Program
During the summer, Georgia’s public libraries have limited free access to one or more traveling banner exhibits from the Museum. The banners tour multiple libraries over the course of the summer. Public libraries request the exhibits through GPLS. Check with your local library to see if the banners are coming to a library near you.
Second Wind Dreams Virtual Dementia Tour Family Edition
Educational Material Loan Program
The Virtual Dementia Tour Family Edition© is a sensory altering kit that simulates what day to day tasks are like for those who suffer from dementia. Its primary purpose is for individuals who are caretakers or have family members suffering from to dementia to gain an understanding of what these individuals experience. It is not to be used alone as the experience can be disorienting or overwhelming.
A circulating Family Edition VDT kit is being piloted in 25 library systems. Circulation numbers, library staff and patron input, SWD input, logistics, and wear and tear on the kits is tracked. The results will dictate the future growth of the program.
- The VDT Kit has a seven (7) day circulation period
- One (1) renewal is permitted
- In-system holds are allowed.
Shakespeare Tavern
Pass Loan Program
The Family Theatre Pass allows for up to four (4) free tickets to a performance at the Shakespeare Tavern. Or it can be used for four (4) free box seat tickets to a tiered seating performance.
The Family Theatre Pass MUST be presented at the Shakespeare Tavern Box Office to receive free tickets.
All tickets redeemed using the Family Theatre Pass are for general admissions ONLY and may not be used for special events or food or beverages. Other restrictions may apply.
- Tickets are available on first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available for closing weekend performances or non-Atlanta Shakespeare Company productions, such as companies renting the Playhouse.
- Free tickets may not be transferred to someone else.
- The Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days including one renewal, so the Pass can be available for fourteen (14) days.
- Tickets available through the Pass are ONLY available within the fourteen (14) day circulation period, so patrons MAY NOT select a performance any further out than those fourteen (14) days the pass is available.
- There is a limit of one (1) performance per circulation. Renewing the Pass does not allow for an additional performance.
Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library
Exhibit Program
She Gathers Me examines the connections found within intimate correspondences, personal projects, and speaking engagements and furthers our understanding of the interconnectedness of Black women writers beyond their published works. The exhibit features luminaries like Alice Walker, Audre Lorde, Pearl Cleage, Tayari Jones, and others.

Zoo Atlanta Library Pass & DVD

The Zoo has instituted a number of rules limiting services and admissions to protect their animals, staff, and visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before your visit, please call the Zoo [404.624.9453 (WILD)] or to visit their Know Before You Visit webpage for hours and any new information.
Blackout Dates
For 2023, the Zoo has instituted blackout dates for the Pass meaning patrons may not redeem the pass on particular dates. They are listed below and more information may be found on the Library Pass Page on the Zoo website. Blackout dates are:
- April 3-7
- May 29
- July 4
- September 4
- October 9
- November 23
- December 25
Using the Zoo DVD to Visiting the Zoo
The Zoo is accepting walk-up visits from library patrons who have a Library Pass receipt.
Check out the DVD from your library, take it home, watch it, and when you return it to your library on time and in good condition, you will receive a pass receipt which, as a one-time use, admits up to three (3) people to Zoo Atlanta.
You have two (4) weeks [twenty-eight (28) days] from the DVD return date and receiving the pass receipt to redeem it. To redeem the pass receipt, you must take it to the Zoo and present the pass receipt and library card used to check out the DVD at the Admissions gate.
- The pass receipt is redeemable Monday through Friday only.
- The Zoo DVD has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may not be renewed.
- The DVD does not serve as a pass and should not be taken to the Zoo.
*** You are only allowed to check out the DVD once per year per household. This may seem drastic, but keep in mind the Library Pass is immensely popular.
*** The DVD is to be taken home for viewing. It is not to be viewed in the library and immediately returned.
Official holds, as with a normal circulating book, cannot be placed on the Zoo DVD. However, provided the DVD is currently checked in and available for circulation, a temporary hold is allowable. This hold time is not to exceed 24 hours. Whether or not this policy is used is entirely up to each library system.
