This year’s Technology Boot Camp was another great success! From April 25-27, over 120 library technology professionals came together in Helen, GA, to share tips, resources, strategies, and best practices. This year’s theme was “Library Academy.”

Sessions covered a variety of topics, including services for visually impaired patrons and Internet security. Highlights also included:

GALILEO: Integrating local resources and best practices for linking to content
Information Security: Tips and Tricks to Protect Staff and Public Machines

As usual, there was also the Demo Lab Open, where attendees could experiment with and try out a variety of gadgets and tools.

The Technology Boot Camp is funded by the Library Science and Technology Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
