Georgia Public Library Service held its first Technology Boot Camp in April, bringing technology support personnel together to share experiences and ideas.
On June 8, Gov. Sonny Perdue officially signed Georgia's $17.9 billion budget for FY 2011. It includes two significant library construction projects added to the governor's original recommendations by the Legislature.
Nearly 150 library advocates braved a series of morning downpours March 10 to voice their love for and support of libraries with members of the Georgia General Assembly.
