Atlanta Metro Library for Accessible Services Launches Exhibit Featuring Works of Sanjumi, PinsonThe Atlanta Metro Library for Accessible Services (AMLAS) will open its latest art exhibit on Thursday, April 4, to coincide with First Thursdays Downtown Atlanta Art Walk. The show features the works of two area artists: Atlanta’s Sanjumi and Deborah Hudgens Pinson.

Through the Georgia Libraries for Accessible Statewide Services (GLASS), the Regional Library for Georgians with print impairments and cooperating local libraries, Georgians have access to a free national library program that offers books and magazines on cassette tape and in Braille.

The latest release of the DTBM software can be downloaded from the National Library Service web site at the following link: DTBM Software Download Page.

Who Is Eligible for the service?

  • Anyone who is unable to read or handle standard printed materials as a result of temporary or permanent visual or physical disability.
  • Persons who are legally blind or cannot see well enough or focus long enough to read standard print, even with glasses.
  • Persons who are unable to hold or turn pages of print books.
  • Persons who are certified by a medical doctor as having a reading disability.
