GLASS (Georgia Libraries for Accessible Statewide Services) needs your help! A planning team is working to determine the best possible ways of delivering GLASS services statewide.

Appling County Public Library Children's Room and Garden Dedication and Open House
Monday May 17, 2010 2pm-6pm

Join the Gwinnett County Public Library on May 8, 2010 for the Grand Opening Celebration of the Hamilton Mill Branch. The library will be open to customers beginning on April 24, 2010.

The DeKalb County Library board of trustees and library staff invite the public to the dedication of the expanded and renovated Embry Hills branch. The ceremony will include a ribbon cutting, tours of the building and refreshments. Festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. on April 3. The library is located at 3733 Chamblee-Tucker Road in Chamblee.

This is the application dealine for the GPLS "Librarians Build Communities" scholarship, funded by the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Grant.

Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2010 for students entering Fall 2010.
